NCI Hamfest Announcement

On behalf of the committees, We first want to apologize for this late notice. We had been hopeful about continuing into the next year, but after much discussion and careful consideration, the committee has decided to dissolve the NCI Hamfest event.

We deeply appreciate the time, energy, and support that so many have contributed over the years. Our thanks go out to the vendors, sponsors, clubs, volunteers, forum speakers, National Weather Service-skywarn seminar, Table demonstrators, attendees, Jefferson Street BBQ for their food service, and the Miami County 4H Fairgrounds for the use of their facilities. Without you, this event would not have been possible or as successful as it was.

It is with great sadness that we share there will be no plans for a 2026 event. We encourage you to stay involved in amateur radio by attending the many wonderful hamfests in surrounding areas and remaining connected with activities across county borders.

I also want to echo the thoughts Jerry shared in his message, as his words reflect the heart of what this event has meant to our community. Together, we celebrate what has been built and the friendships formed through this hamfest.

Thank you again for being part of this journey with us.

Due to some recent events the the North Central Indiana Hamfest Committee has decided to suspend all future hamfests.

On behalf of the committee, we would like to thank all the volunteers, vendors and attendees that joined us in this year and all the years in the past.

On behalf of the committee we want to thank all our vendors and attendees who came out to make this event a success. We had 300 people in attendance including vendors.
Even though the temperature was cooler everyone had a great time with general vendors, Z-MGMT LLC and Hamsource businesses and demonstrations: FT8, VaraChat, GoBags, Miami Co. EMA, National Weather Service, ARRL, YLRL, and NearSpace Education.

We had several participate in multiple Fox Hunt activities, we had a great POTA forum and NSW had a great turn out with a SkyWarn seminar. Our Hospitality committee provided breakfast then Jefferson Street BBQ came and provided lunch.

The Miami County 4-H Fairgrounds offers 30-35 campsites equipped with electric and water hookups, providing a convenient and comfortable stay during the event. Campers also have access to clean bathrooms and shower facilities to enhance their stay.

We’re Excited to Announce — All Indoor Table Spaces Are FILLED!
Thank you to everyone who reserved your tables in advance!

Weather permitting, we will have a limited number of tailgating spaces available. These will be first-come, first-served and can be paid for at the door.
