I'd like to start a periodic series called BEFORE AND AFTER! Perry's positive transformation the past 15+ years has been startling and it's happening at an ever-accelerating rate. Sometimes it's hard to remember how much has changed! Buildings, public spaces, houses, gardens. You name it - share a before and after and let's get them collected. Thanks! Here's one to kick things off. Kudos to the dedicated people who have made this the new reality.

It has been a while since we posted, but this is worth it. Thank you butter meat co. for this cute sign and the latte! Coffee hour with the Mayor at 11 o’clock on Saturdays is a tradition going on more than 10 years. Come to share your ideas and concerns or just shoot the breeze.

My Perry friends - Tuesday, March 21, 12-9pm is Election Day in the Village. I’d appreciate your vote for another term as mayor. There isn’t the space to fill you in on what we’ve accomplished or what lies ahead, but if you haven’t read it, you’ll find the DRI application - which has netted Perry $10 million to support a variety of public and private projects - a decent overview of where we’ve been and where we’re going. Thanks for your support!

Good morning! Coffee hour with the Mayor continues on Saturday mornings. I don’t have any appointments this morning. So if you want to talk about the DRI, potholes, taxes, sidewalks, property maintenance, water, sewer, sign laws, trails, parks, public safety, budget, or your grandkids, I’ll be there. 11-12, at Butter Meat Co. As always, coffee (or a small soft serve ice cream cone) is on me.

I've always said Perry is a YES community! Say yes to coming out in the rain tomorrow to support the farmers who are out picking corn, packing pottery and preparing baked goods and more for you. They'll get wet, you'll get wet. It will be fun.
But really, if you're a market-goer, please support the vendors Saturday morning. See you there for coffee hour with the mayor! -Rick Hauser

The market is ON for Saturday! We know you count on the vendors and they count on you. The real test is: will you come out if it’s raining? I hope the answer is yes. The new produce (did someone say ?) we have will make it worth your while. Grab your umbrella and have a wet adventure. Live music at 10 ( Quigley family)!
