In 2006 Auggie Carbunari was lost to us. Shortly following his passing an impromptu gathering was held to celebrate his life through music - something in which he had a tremendous passion for. Greetings Afest family,

We wish we were breaking the silence on the Afest airwaves to tell you something exciting, but it's with heavy hearts that we're here to say there will not be an AuggieFest this year. It was a tough decision to make but truthfully, this gathering has become an increasingly challenging feat to pull off in recent years as many of us key organizers are in the midst of juggling life’s other responsibilities. Rest assured though, we might be taking a summer off, but Afest is a never-ending groove that LIVES ON! We’ve made too much noise the last 14 years to let it end here. That said, we’re keenly eyeing Afest 2020 -- which will be the 15 anniversary of AuggieFest! We’re gonna miss you all like crazy this summer! In the meantime, let’s recharge, let those happy vibes build, and explode in 2020! So much love Afest fam. Keep it real and we'll see you again soon! 😀✌️🔥🎶

Wow what a party! Who's got pics and video? If so, send it over so we can share the good stuff. Or use the hashtag on instagram so we can find you. You guys were so absolutely incredible. So much music, smiles and laughter - we bet it is still echoing off the mountain 2 days later!

So many thanks to our amazing musicians: Kelly Ravin Music and The Welterweights, Mihali Savoulidis of Twiddle, Brett Hughes, Cole Davidson, Bill Brink, The Aerolites/ The Shady Trees, Matt Blair of The Whiskey Dicks, Michael Chorney and Zach Dupont. Thank you Pat Melvin for knowing so many great musicians and getting them down to Afest - and for doing amazing sound! So much incredible music in one night. This one really stood out from the rest which is really sayin' something!

Also, so many thanks to those who helped the party happen: Patrick Scheld, Kevin Clauss, Shelley Hofelich Birgit Eckstrom, Tyler Hintz and Alana June, David Chrystal, Clayton Gilligan, Suzanne Bartlett, Christopher Rockwood, Walthier and of course the VERY AMAZING Whittemore Family who might just be the nicest and most charitable people on earth. Year after year they offer their beautiful land to AuggieFest : ) We are so very lucky!

And finally thank you to all our amazing guests both new and old. The Afest family continues to grow! Your turnout is inspiring and your spirit is infectious. It is truly what keeps AuggieFest so unique and ever-lasting! So Much love! Till next time...

Pig is on the roaster, stage and tents are up, weather forecast is saying partly cloudy but were just gonna call that partly sunny. Same difference amirite?

We can't wait to do Auggiefest number THIRTEEN with you all!

There's a 30% chance for a light shower early afternoon and anther more significant chance for light rain just before dawn tomorrow. Pleas take take that into consideration especially if you're camping. We won't let it slow us down you can count on that!

Now let's get it started! THIS IS AUGGIEFEST!

Happy Friday AuggieFest fam. Our favorite weekend of the year is less than a month away! Are you feelin' the vibes yet?

The Whittemore family land is in mid-summer form looking green and lush as ever and our bonfire has already been built thanks to a fine group of AuggieFest tribesmen/women: Patrick Scheld, Pat Melvin, Steve Theoharides, R.W. Thib, Birgit Eckstrom, Louis, Nik and Greg Sauer. Thank you guys for getting the job done! This massive heap of wood now stands majestically awaiting kindred spirits, revelry and a ceremonial tiki torch to light 'er up!

On August 11th we camp out, rock out, and eat and drink the night away! Spread the word. Much Love!
