I've been getting a lot of queries about the cost of my electric bill for the Christmas display. The best guess between December and January's bills is approximately $150 to run the lights. The moving heads alone use a whopping 2800 Watts, which is the biggest energy hog in the light show.

This evening wraps up our 2025 Christmas lights display, set to dazzle one last time until 10 pm. We are simultaneously laying the groundwork for an even brighter 2026 season, having secured our first orders with our manufacturing partner in China and to upgraded our behind-the-scenes infrastructure to replace aging controllers that have faithfully served us for 12 to 16 years.
