On this national "Law Enforcement Appreciation Day" we are grateful for everything that our first responders do to help keep us safe! Looking back at our Pumpkin Run this year, our race day police presence was generously sponsored by Native Road Safety LLC! Thank you to the officers, sponsors, and community partners who made the 39th Annual Pumpkin Run a special day of support and celebration for our beloved school.

Our pumpkin run this past weekend was a beautiful representation of the BEST from our amazing Pensacola community. On a crisp Fall morning, our neighborhood friends and local businesses had many other places they could have been... Blue Angels Airshow, Gulf Coast Arts Fest, Egg Fest, Greek Fest, Foo Foo Fest, or even just sleeping in... but it was so humbling to see SO MANY people show up to support Sacred Heart Cathedral School and the gift of Catholic education in our beloved East Hill. The 39th Annual Great Pumpkin Race and Little Pumpkin Fun Run was successful because of the generous sponsors and roughly 1,200 people who ran with joy and determination.

It was great to have the McGuire's Bagpipe Band, the Boy Scouts, representatives of the CHS Pep Band, the Texas Roadhouse Armadillo Mascot, the Pensacola Ice Flyers Mascot, the Trek Bicycle Store raffling off a bike and so many other amazing people and great door prizes donated by our local sponsors!

The smiling faces of our happy students say more than we can ever express. Thank you, Pensacola!

We're so excited for RACE WEEKEND! Bright and early Saturday we'll be running through the beautiful streets of East Hill as we celebrate our commitment to students and families at Sacred Heart Cathedral School. Thank you to our sponsors who make this fundraiser such an incredible success!

The 39th Great Pumpkin Run 5K is on Saturday November 4, 2023. It includes the following events: 5k Individual Registration, 5k Team Registration, Wheelchair, and 5k Individual WALK only (age 15+ only).

Hannah Domoslay-Paul (Race Director) here with a quick note:

Whew, I am tired but so happy we had such a great race!

I arrived home at about 11:45 PM Sunday evening after finishing most of the final work for the 38th Annual Great Pumpkin Race and I want to send a huge thank you to all of my committee members, volunteers, spectators, and racers. Your hard work, dedication, and participation helped us again have an incredibly successful event and for that we are filled with gratitude.

There are still a few things to do and for that I ask your patience. We have a few races that are still waiting on scoring corrections but I promise you we are working diligently to get everything taken care of. If you have a race correction please email me at the address below in the comments or reach out directly to our race times, Race Krewe their email is also below in the comments.

I have almost fully lost my voice after talking to so many of you over the past week so I will be reaching out by email whenever possible to any award or prize winners who have yet to pickup their items. 3rd place 15-85 awards and the 14 and under awards are almost completed, just waiting on final corrections, and I will update as soon as they are ready for anyone who had to leave early Saturday. 1st and 2nd place 15-85 awards are ready at the school and labeled with your names if you know you place and can be picked up between 8 AM - 3 PM Monday through Friday. If those times will not be feesible please email me and I will gladly work around your schedule as much as possible. I also spent a few hours tonight sorting through shirts for everyone who is still hoping to get one and will begin notifying those names tomorrow.

Please remember all prizes, awards, and shirts not claimed by Saturday, November 19, 2022, are considered to be forfeited and returned to the race based on the waiver that all participants signed.
