Max’s story is why this community means everything to us 💙

Back in February, Max (just 2 years old) was adopted from Escambia County Animal Welfare. He was heartworm positive… but that didn’t stop his forever mom from choosing him.

And today—we’re so happy to share—he received his first treatment and is doing great.
Because of the funds raised at Paw-di Gras (and YOU showing up the way you always do), we were able to help sponsor $250 of his treatment. That’s one less barrier for a dog getting the life he deserves.

The public has spoken and the 6th Annual Pensacola Paw-di Gras theme is… JURASSIC BARK!

We already know downtown Pensacola is about to be taken over by the cutest pack of dinosaurs you’ve ever seen. Think T-Rex zoomies, triceratops struts, and a whole lot of tail wags 🐕✨

For those who may not know, we always plan Paw-di Gras two weeks before the Grand Parade/Fat Tuesday so we have a built-in backup weekend if needed. With Mardi Gras season coming even earlier next year, we’re excited to kick off 2027 with our biggest (and maybe most prehistoric) party yet.

Seriously… we cannot WAIT to see what y’all come up with for this theme.
