Not everything shows up on video the way I would like, but tonight at Lost Pond wedding venue, the fireflies were lighting up like crazy. It has been a dry year, so we have fewer than in years past, but there are still quite a few lighting up the sky.

Fireflies, flowers, flowing water and fairy lights are all reasons to have a June wedding at Lost Pond. The late spring flowers are in full bloom, the fireflies start their visual symphony at dusk, and the fairy lights start twinkling from overhead. All with the sound of the stream in the background and a cool breeze coming off the pond. If you are looking for a wedding venue that has nature at its center, then Lost Pond is the place for you.

Lost Pond also takes care of the hard stuff for you. We handle set up and tear-down, so you don’t have your wedding party getting sweaty before they start getting ready. We set up the tables and chairs, and the seats in the ceremony area. At the end of the night we put away all the tables and chairs and haul off the trash bags. No leaving family and friends to clean at the end of the night after a full day of celebrating.

If you want a stress-free wedding while being dazzled by fireflies, then come tour Lost Pond for your June 2027 wedding today.

Yes! Colorado has native fireflies.

The fireflies are out at Lost Pond wedding venue. I wish I could capture their magic and beauty, and I can’t quite seem to do it. But they are magical. Like little fairies glowing in the dark. Flashing on and off. Brightly shining before going dark and then appearing again in a different spot. They are only here for the month of June. They disappear in July not to appear again until late May of the next year. So if you are looking for real fairy lights. Not man made ones. Then Lost Pond is where the stars come down to the ground to play.

If you are looking for a June 2027 wedding in Colorado, we still have some dates available.
Contact us and we would love to show you around.

What every dog friendly wedding venue needs, is a puppy. Meet Quill. Our newest family member. He loves haning out at the venue, chasing butterflies, and rolling in the dirt. He also loves to race agains anyone who will run with him. And then after he is done running around, he wants to just flop down in the grass to cool down.
If you want to meet Quill, take a tour of Lost Pond or both of those, then let us know. Quill loves to meet new people.

The days have been in the 90s, but there’s still work to do to get Lost Pond ready for our couples.

Right now we’re spreading gravel and leveling everything out. Once that’s finished, it will be compacted into a hard-packed surface that will help create a beautiful and functional space for wedding days.

We’re starting at first light each morning and working until the heat becomes too much, then heading back out in the evening to keep pushing forward. We’re definitely burning the candle at both ends, but every long day brings us one step closer to the finish line.

It’s incredible to see this dream coming together. Every load of gravel, every hour of work, and every project we complete gets us closer to welcoming our first couples to Lost Pond.

We can’t wait to share this place with all of our future brides, grooms, families, and friends. The finish line is finally starting to come into view. ❤️

Right now we’re busy finishing the details, but every step brings us closer to seeing first dances under the lights, laughter with family and friends, and unforgettable memories being made at Lost Pond.

Watching couples dance the night away beside the pond is exactly why we’re building this place, and we can’t wait to share it with all of you.
