RAMP UP PENINSULA is an annual festival honoring the ramp, the wild leek, the ramson, Allium tricoccum

also known as “little stinkers” by some folks in the Cuyahoga Valley. The ramp is a wild herb found throughout northeastern United States and celebrated in Appalachia for decades. Ramps flourish in leafy mulch in hardwood forests. Their leaves appear briefly in spring providing much needed minerals and vitamins to foragers and appreciators alike. Their strong garlic and onion flavor is rich, earthy, lingering and not like anything else. Caregivers are always giving—this morning is designed to give back to you. Guided by therapist and mindfulness teacher Shannon Speaks, this Nature Rx session combines time in nature with reflection and intention setting. Participants will explore their caregiving journey and create a personal Caregiver Manifesto to support clarity, balance, and self-inclusion in care. 🌱

Join the Conservancy and Sarah Waite of YouBloom LLC for a mindful walk along the beautiful Ledges Trail. This slow paced, guided walk invites you to engage your senses, practice grounding, and take in the peacefulness of the forest and rock formations. 🌲
