Wintry Market is a handmade for the holidays indie art & craft bazaar featuring 180 of the best makers in Idaho and the West! The show is at the Boise Convention Centre downtown on the Grove Plaza the weekend before Thanksgiving each November. Treefort Market is new in 2026 at the renowned Treefort Music Fest and will be held Friday and Saturday of the festival at the Boise Centre. Admission & vendor application details on our website, Instagram and Facebook event pages. These markets serve as upscale and inventive Idaho indie art/craft shows during the holidays and seasonally. The Markets consist of innovative and original items produced using traditional art/craft methods as well as unique vintage dealers and artisanal foods. Wintry (and Treefort) Market takes no commission from its makers so 100% of the sales go right back into the local arts community and support small businesses. We take pride in bringing together a diverse crowd of vendors every year to keep the events fresh and exciting and an affordable marketplace for handmade goods. Happy Interwoven Oregon Eve! Your market curators have arrived from Boise and we are so thrilled to be here with you all.

📣 Important Interwoven Market deets!

We are happening in the Pendleton Convention Center tomorrow (Thursday), Friday & Saturday. Attendees will enter through the main front entrance. 🐑 Keep an eye out for the sheep!

🚙 There is free parking for all in the lot out front!

🍽️ You are allowed to bring your own water bottles (and there is a refill station at the water fountain). B**r, w**e, soda, coffee and snacks will be available for purchase at the Happy Canyon Lounge once inside - it wouldn’t be one of our markets without being able to shop with drink in hand! 🍻)

🎨 Know what else you can do in addition to shop with all our 70+ amazing makers? Use the sewing machines Artisans For Hope to help make an Interwoven community coat AND a horse blanket for Saturday night’s fashion show 🪡, get your hair tinseled Hair Shimmers and Sparkles ✨, swag up your fit with chai stitching from Rane Studio, try your hand as a fashion designer for a day 🖍️ art project or weave in our community loom in the Happy Canyon Lounge, check out our amazing artisan demos in the main hall or any one of the spectacular workshops throughout the building! There is SO MUCH to do, see and learn. (Pssst 🧐 keep an eye out for a little memorial shrine to one of our Interwoven patron saints Dolly Parton and if you want to make or bring something to add to it please feel free! 🎶)

🎟️ Admission to Interwoven Market is included with your Interwoven: Where Cultures Meet passes or you can buy a market only pass for all weekend or just the day. You can do so online anytime at www.interwovenoregon.com or at the door.

⏰ Hours are 4-9pm Thursday October 15 and 10am-5pm Friday October 16 + Saturday October 17

🗺️ Vendor maps will be available inside along with a QR code to download it to your phone so you can find your favorites easily, however we highly recommend wandering and discovering new makers throughout the main hall (you can see our map now in our stories).

We are so excited to share the amazing experiences in store at Interwoven Market, including the best opening night party with the Pendleton Chamber Ambassadors in the house along with
the Oregon East Symphony, who Oregon East Symphonywith a string trio and quartet) a selection of works by Mvskoke (Creek) composer Aryn Ward who, in addition to being a composer and music educator, is the director of the Good Medicine Music Festival which features Indigenous classical performers presenting works by Indigenous composers. Thursday, Friday and Saturday there’s a full line up with leatherwork and ceramic workshops, storytelling and a quilt exhibition, upcycling and fashion panels and places to make art and try your hand at sewing and so much more. Crow’s Shadow Institute of the Arts (CSIA) is a nonprofit organization founded in 1992 with a mission to support Native American artists and communities. Over the past three decades, CSIA has evolved from a small initiative into a nationally recognized studio known for advancing Native voices in contemporary fine art printmaking. Its reputation as a leading printmaking center attracts artists from across the United States and beyond, fostering collaborations that place Indigenous perspectives at the forefront of contemporary art. Located at the foothills of Oregon’s Blue Mountains on the ancestral homelands of the Umatilla, Walla Walla, and Cayuse people (CTUIR), CSIA has become a beacon for both artistic innovation and cultural heritage.
CSIA’s Traditional Arts program is equally integral to its mission, preserving and promoting Indigenous practices such as beadwork, basketry, and garment-making. Through these programs, CSIA sustains a legacy of deep cultural knowledge, offering artists a unique space to explore both ancestral techniques and contemporary expressions.

We are so excited to have Crows Shadow Institute of the Arts as a featured non-profit at our inaugural Interwoven: Where Cultures Meet market this week! You’ll find them in booth 33 selling some of their gorgeous prints and also in room 3 Friday and Saturday offering a basket workshop and a linocut printmaking workshop (these require an additional registration fee - please sign up for the limited spots on their website at www.crowsshadow.org)

In the 1980s Boise, Idaho, was designated one of the 200 resettlement cities in the USA. In 2009, a small group of women felt many refugees were still met with difficulties adjusting, community misunderstanding and ambivalence. These women wanted to help find a creative and inexpensive way to help our refugee neighbors feel welcome and become a part of the larger Idaho community. The vehicle? Textile handcrafts and an opportunity to connect, learn, create and earn. Artisans For Hope is a 501c3 nonprofit teaching Idaho refugees to sew and knit for free in beginner courses and the opportunity to become advanced sewists who sell their wares in their shop and earn a 60% commission. Sixteen years and nearly 1,000 graduates later they remain committed to the same mission and we are thrilled to have these new Westerners as part of our inaugural Interwoven Market as a featured non-profit!

You’ll find them in booths 10-11 where they will be selling their refugee made wares and the coolest vintage and new fabric, notions, knitting and handicraft supplies in their Textile Treasures Thrift Shop. ✂️🧵 In that same space Artisans For Hope will be hosting a community sewing project where everyone is invited to come help create TWO fashion show looks to be worn in Saturday night’s fashion show - a coat of many colors for a human and a fabulous show blanket for a horse model! 🐎 They will be exhibiting their Story Quilts telling their journeys seeking asylum in the West in fabric art in room 1 and their Executive Director is speaking on all this and more in room 1 on Friday at 130pm so be sure to add it all to your schedule! 🌏
