From traditional harness races at the track to agricultural exhibits, livestock, games, live music, and classic fair food, this year’s Washington County Fair in Pembroke was packed with smiles for every generation.

Get ready for a weekend of fun at the Washington County Fair!

Bring the whole family out to the Pembroke Fairgrounds for two action-packed days of big pulls, live music, delicious food, and classic fair traditions!

Where: Pembroke Fairgrounds - 222 Old County Road, Pembroke
When: Saturday & Sunday, August 29 & 30, 2026 | 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM
Admission: $8 per day (Kids 10 & under are FREE!)
Parking: FREE!

Saturday Highlights:
Harness Racing, the big ATV 4x4 Pull, and the Car & Tractor Show!Frozen T-Shirt Contest, Watermelon Eating Contest, Stick Horse Racing, and the Tiny Tots Farmer Pageant! C***r pressing, woodworking, 4-H Touch Tank & spud stamping, plus canine and scything demos! Live Music: Ken & Jane Brooks, plus Honey River Band!

Sunday Highlights:
Mutton Bustin', tLadies' Skillet Toss, Men's Hammer Throw, the Pig Scramble (ages 5–12), and V8 Mini Modified Tractor Pulls! Farrier (horseshoeing) demos, horse training, flower arranging, and 4-H Robotics & Rabbits!
Grace Christian Church Service and more live Music: Josiah Dyer, plus Andy Radin & Adam Steinberg!

Non-Stop Fun Both Days!
For the Kids: Free Bounce House, Thomas the Train rides, face painting, games (10am–3pm), and the Balloon Man!
Fair Favorites: Livestock displays, blacksmithing, antique farm equipment, 4-H Exhibition Hall, local craft vendors, and tons of amazing fair food!

Friendly reminder: Smoking/vaping in designated areas only. No fi****ms. No pets except registered service animals.

Harness Racing at the Washington County Fair - Pembroke Fairgrounds on THIS SATURDAY August 29 ! TWO RACES 11am to noon and 2 to 30pm.
Enjoy all of the fair event including races for $8 entry fee ( children under 10 are free.)
