Since the winter months are now upon us, there will be no more Survival Skills Workshops for the remainder of the winter. We plan to resume workshops sometime in the spring. Let us know if you have suggestions for locations for future workshops or ideas to improve our programs!

We are excited to announce the first ever Survival Skills Workshop here in Pella, IA!

August 26th, 1-4pm

This workshop is for anyone age 8 & up who wants to learn the basics of wilderness survival! It is geared more toward kids, but adults are welcome!

You will:
-learn how to find, filter, and purify water
-go on a Wild Edibles scavenger hunt
-learn how to build a fire
-make your own shelter
-learn how to signal for help & get rescued
and make your own wilderness survival kit!

Cost is $15 per attendee. Family discount is available!
Parents attending with kids can attend free of charge.
