Come for the pew pews, stay for the laughs, friendships, and fun! The 2026 Bama Belle, Tier II, Ladies Only match will be held at Brock's Gap Training Center in Pell City, AL on April 11, 2026. It will feature 9 stages (plus chrono) with a round count of approximately 180. *There will be a bonus stage hostage rescue shot fundraiser for Raleigh’s Place: A Christ-Centered Foster Care Ministry (8 lim

**Men: We have a Tier II match just for you too! Friday, April 10, 2026, the men's "Bama Bo" match will be held. This match will include Bama Belle staff and is open to the public (men) who would like to shoot. We do also need your help as CSO/SO’s please! You will get to shoot everything as staff & will be entered to win cool prizes too. We will feed you well after the staff shoot. This is the perfect match to encourage the ladies in your life to practice their defensive pistol skills with other awesome ladies. We need gentle giants to help run everything fairly, consistently & smoothly while the ladies focus on being safe, having fun and probably laughing a lot at themselves and with each other. Ladies: Each squad will consist of 8 shooters so bring your girlfriends and fill your squad. Expect fun on a tractor, fighting gators, drinking sweet tea, baking pies all while defending yourself and your loved ones from armed bandits & cattle rustlers. With all the pictures taken, I realized we never took one with just the core design staff. Am so grateful and thankful for this year of prep work turning into a beautiful week of safe shooting, friendship building, skill refinement, hugs, laughter and high fives.

I woke up this morning sad that it’s all over - the late night emergency calls with April to discuss something, plan something or quick “what do you think about …” texts. Video planning calls with Michael and group chats,
Watching all the guys with the tools, multiple Mr Fix It’s building walls, movers, the brick wall, rolling pin fun- just their ingenuity and creativity of making something on paper come alive. Stats - kudos to y’all for all that techie stuff that I’ll never really understand but expect to work perfectly. Thankful that the Brock’s Gap members shared this beautiful range with us! And yes, Michael’s fingerprints truly are everywhere on it.

Am so humbled thinking of all the CSO/So’s who gave up work time to come shoot on a weekday in order to support all the ladies shooting. Couldn’t believe we had a wait list of volunteers! They made the right calls and made my job incredibly easy.

And of course- the Ladies! So many faces I recognized and new friends made. Young, old, fast, slow, master level and true novice - all coming together to cheer each other on. I’d drive by the stages and so many times would hear roaring laughter. Oh to have been a fly to hear whatever joke was told! Their energy was infectious!

My sincerest thank you to all involved. Ladies, this match was for You! Sponsors, you turned out in a BIG way and we’ll be posting about you too in detail. THANK YOU!!

I had someone come up to me after the match today and ask, “How do you feel now that it’s all over?”

The first word that came to mind was GRATEFUL.

Grateful for everyone involved with Bama Belle and Bama Bo. There were so many people behind the scenes putting in hours upon hours of work to get the range and match ready for this weekend, and it showed in every detail.

Special thanks to the folks below (in no specific order):
- Michael Goodman – Range President and the one who insisted we get the air-conditioned “Gucci” potties 🥰 I can’t even articulate my appreciation for this guy- just, thank you!

- Amandalyn Barr - Match Director - Couldn’t have asked for a more genuine, kind, incredible person to pull this all together! Thank you for all you’ve done for everyone and the fun you’ve brought along the way!

- Robert Garrison – Senior Mr. Fix-It and Mr. Build-It - The one who can build or fix it all, with a smile! Thank you for everything!

- Frank Butcher & Robert Moore – Stats and “anything else that needs to be done” guys - This is the ultimate dynamic duo! Can’t thank you both enough!

- Joyce Wilson and Kitty Richards - How cool is it that IDPA exec staff came out to the match?!? We cannot thank them enough for all they do for the shooting sports, but especially women in the shooting sports! Getting to meet them and spend time with them over the weekend was so inspiring!
