I just want to take a moment to say THANK YOU to everyone who made Battle at the Capitol such an incredible event. 🙏
First, to my Impact MA family—your hard work did not go unnoticed. From setup, to running things during the event, to cleanup… from parents to our “Minions,” you all made sure our guests, judges, volunteers, and even myself were taken care of. That kind of teamwork is special.
To all the competitors—you showed amazing skill and even better sportsmanship all day long. The kind words shared, the respect shown, and the memories made are what this event is all about. And to the parents and families—your energy and support made it possible for these athletes to shine.
To our incredible judges, scorekeepers, and Joey and Hollie—thank you for making this all possible. We always say “hardest workers in the room,” but we also strive for the best customer service—and you all delivered.
Tillie Fathbruckner —there aren’t enough words. From behind-the-scenes planning to the details everyone experienced (stickers, buttons, coloring books, shirts, scarves, and more), you took things to another level. The hotel negotiations, orders, calls, emails—months of work. I’m truly grateful for everything you do.
Thank you to 5th Monday Studios for capturing the moments. The photos speak for themselves, but what people don’t always see is the passion Stephen has for showcasing the beauty of this sport—not just the action. I’ll always advocate for promoters to take care of him, because he gives so much to this community.
