The PURE Insurance Championship is a PGA TOUR Champions tournament played annually at Pebble Beach Golf Links and Poppy Hills Golf Course. The tournament, impacting First Tee, is a 3-day, 54-hole event featuring 81 PGA TOUR Champions players, 81 junior golfers (ages 15-18) from First Tee and 156 amateurs.

This year at the PURE Insurance Championship, Chevron awarded $275,000 through The Chevron Challenge, Girls Golf initiatives, and Aces for Access — supporting Punyavut Firsttee Maikami chapters, LPGA*USGA Girls Golf programming, scholarships, and youth-serving nonprofits across Monterey County.

From junior golfers at The Hay to local organizations creating more access, this week showed how golf can build confidence, character, and opportunity for the next generation.

This week, 20 Girls Golf participants are teeing it up at the PURE Insurance Championship and representing First Tee chapters from across the country.

In honor of each participant, Chevron is making a $1,500 donation to support their local First Tee chapter and Girls Golf programming through the LPGA Foundation.

We’re proud to celebrate these young golfers and the programs helping more girls feel welcomed, supported, and inspired through the game.
