We are starting a new raffle this weekend at the Pearl Bluegrass Jam. We have had a run of great instruments that we have raffled off over the last year but we had a tool donated to us.

This raffle will be limited to 100 tickets at $5 each. We will do the drawing as soon as we hit 100 tickets sold or July 4th whichever comes first.

The item: Kobalt 24v brushless 1/2 impact wrench with 4.0 Ah battery, charger and bag. This item is brand new in box as can be seen in the photos.

Are you interested in being part of a great community event where you get to experience incredible music, tasty food and some of the best folks you're going to meet anywhere? We are looking folks to volunteer to help with our Pearl Bluegrass Jam

Our event occurs monthly and we need a few folks that could commit to working one or two times per year to help fill out our group that works every month (you can volunteer more if you like).

We started the day off with a great group of veterans and musicians doing the songwriting workshop. We made great progress on a cool song with Drew’s guidance and lot’s of great exchange within the group.
We jumped from songwriting to the open mic and we had several veterans get up and share some original songs and some covers as well. Many genres of music were covered and it was an emotional ride as each performer shared some of their experiences of how music has impacted their lives. We even did a quick jam session with three of our local Guitars for Vets instructors and one of our students who had his first opportunity to perform on stage! It was a lot of fun.
Drew closed out the night with a lot of original tunes and gave a preview of the song we wrote in the songwriting workshop. We hope to get it polished up and recorded at some point. We will be dividing those royalties about 10 ways!!

Thanks to all who came out for game day at the community center! We had a lot of fun! Lots of laughter and fellowship! We hope to do it again in the future.
