So my hook last night wasn’t what I wanted BUT this beautiful young girl reminded me EXACTLY why I love this sport! Lillie Eisenhour came to find me as soon as I came off the track. She had so many great questions about the truck and my journey. She asked for a picture, took home a hoodie and filled my HEART with so much JOY! I can only hope that she will remember that small moment in time for as long as I will.

EDIT TO ADD:
Track and sled crews did everything they could! Not hating on Steam Engine Show, Williams Grove, Pull-Off Productions or the Full Pull USA East sled or operators!
Unfortunately this happens in pulling, but we love the venue and will definitely be back!

Definitely not the hook I was hoping for last night! We watched the track for HOURS and unfortunately there was not a spot where the trucks weren’t bouncing like crazy. I was really nervous and not sure if I’d know whether to back out or drove thru it and there was NO WAY I could possibly drive thru it…it was a 2nd place finish but a great night with our pulling family! Still learning and already looking forward to my next hook!
