Your unwavering contributions, whether through donations or active participation, have been nothing short of inspiring. Your dedication to honoring Mike’s memory and supporting our cause has touched our hearts profoundly, and we are incredibly grateful for the love and encouragement you have shown.
Over the past two outings, thanks to your support, we have been able to donate a total of $12,000 to the VHL Alliance. This remarkable organization plays a vital role in supporting patients affected by VHL (von Hippel-Lindau disease) and has been instrumental in advocating for the breakthrough drug Welireg It is poignant to note that the FDA approval of this drug coincided with the month of Mike’s passing. This revolutionary drug has shown remarkable success in halting tumor growth and even shrinking tumors in VHL patients, significantly improving their quality of life. Mike’s legacy lives on through the strides we’ve made together in supporting this cause. As we often say, Mike walked, so we could run.
This year, we have made the difficult decision to scale back the event. While this decision was not made lightly, please know that it was made with careful consideration and with the utmost respect for the event’s significance. We remain hopeful that we will be able to bring the golf outing back in full swing when the timing is right, and we look forward to your continued support when that time comes.
