Wow! 4 years of Hometown Holidays & Trail of Lights has been so much fun to do!

Lighting up Silver Sycamore, live performances, food and just easy family fun was always the idea!
And the whole goal in providing this event for the community was to have somewhere local to celebrate the season but also to benefit the nonprofit Time to Level the Playing Field.

From these last 4 years, we have learned a lot, and also been able to award 8 instruments in total to PISD students who really shine. And that has been the most fun.

And while we loved it and the purpose of it, Unfortunately, the trail of lights has not quite gained enough support and attendance to continue to run.
😭
So, that being said, we will not be having Hometown Holidays moving forward.
HOWEVER!!!!! We will still be hosting Breakfast with Santa in December, so we will announce those when appropriate.
AND… our work with Time to Level the Playing Field is not done.
Silver Sycamore will now be hosting a free Summer Concert Series & Market where the goal is to raise money for the nonprofit. We hope that this will be just as fun for the community and still beneficial for the foundation!

So, we just want to thank you all for participating and coming to Hometown Holidays all these years! We hope to see you around the grounds for the holiday season!
