Congrats!!!

We are incredibly thankful for the opportunity afforded us by Elliot Ivory and Rally in the Alley Beer Fest to have a beer scale up with Vine Street Brewing Co. . This is a huge honor and we dont have words to express our joy. Given this, our winning brewer had to make a trip down to the source for a pint or two. Can't wait to work together on this beer!

Oh what fun! Here's a shot from before the event started of most of our brewers. So many thanks to give to our brewers, volunteers, attendees, and organizers! We had a few silent auction winners who weren't present when we announced the winners from that, so if you bid on something and left early, expect a message from us soon.

We have more pics to sort through and stats to figure out but for now here's a list of our Homebrewer Awards:

• People's Choice: 816Pack with 139 beans (Nocturnal Ales was a close second with 130 beans)

• Beagle Award: Nocturnal Ales Peachy Petal Pucker Sour with Peaches and Hibiscus Flower

• Brewers' Choice: 1st Place: 3 Monkeys Imperial Brewery Rainforest Afternoon Delight Milkshake IPA (12 votes), 2nd Place: Nocturnal Ales Peachy Petal Pucker (11 votes), 3rd Place: Bibulous Brewing Hick-Up Serenade Mead Hickory Smoked Acerglyn Mead (9 votes)

• Vine Street Brewing Co. Scale Up Winner: 816Pack Crossing the Delaware Pre-Prohibition Porter

• Barley & Vine Scale Up Winner: Grainsmiths Brewery and Woodshop California Steamin' California Common (Steam Beer)

Today's the day! Pictured here is Goat Tree Brewery who brought 9 beers and meads last year! That included one called Damn Daniel, and yes, damn, Daniel! Goat Tree has cut back to 4 this year, so it'll be easier for you to make a decision on which one to try (or try all of them, it's unlimited samples!). Overall, there are 50 different beers, meads, seltzers, etc. to try today!

Coming to Rally in the Alley Beer Fest tomorrow is Doug's Emergency Brew. This beer has a fun story behind it that our brewers will love to talk about.
