Recently, Kytt and I found ourselves in the Muir Woods on the west coast. I couldn’t help but HUG one of these giant redwood trees. There is a profound connection between wellness and nature. It is so important to me to highlight the environment as a vital "Pillar" in our wellness journey. It sure has been a long time coming and I'm finally ready to announce that Pillars of Parksville will open this month! Please join us on Saturday January 20th, from 10am-4pm for a Winter Celebration at Pillars of Parksville to celebrate our 2024 inaugural year. Hope to see you there!

Calling all educators! Why not have your students get their hands a bit dirty this spring? DEC’s School Seedling Program offers free trees that can be used as experiential learning tools. Schools and youth-focused organizations can choose between our wildlife packet, white pine, or white spruce and receive 30-50 seedlings.
