Tennessee Hoyas CAME THROUGH STEPPING 🏀🔥

A busy weekend for the Hoyas as 6 of our 7 teams were in action in Paris Tennessee at the Paris Fish Fry Tournement. Out of the 6 teams, 5 of them played in the championship game coming away with 3 championships and 2 runner-ups. Saturday was perfect as all teams went undefeated. Our 9/10th girls walked into this weekend as their 1st Tournament, but they came out ready winning in the semifinals and were in a dog fight in the championship game. Up 2 at the end of regulation we fouled on a 3pt attempt and the other team made 2 of the 3 free throws forcing OT. OT was a nail biter losing by 3 on a buzzer be**er in finishing 2nd. 8th girls came out sluggish and just couldn't pull away losing by 1 in the semifinals. 8th grade boys simply took care of business going undefeated and walking away with the championship. We have 2 7th grade teams, 1 coached by Coach Swift and the other team coached by Coach Trevathan. Well they both went undefeated and had to play each other in the championship game. As expected is was a good gamw with Coach Trevathan's team prevailing to win the championship, and Coach Swift's group finishing 2nd. Finally the baby brothers of the organization, our 5/6th grade boys. They were clicking on all cylinders this weekend on both sides of the ball, playing great team ball, defense, and definitely brought the energy. They went undefeated all weekend walking away with the gold ball while playing back to back games in the semifinals and the finals!!!! Overall record for the weekend 19-3. Up next Cullman Alabama for both of our High School Girl's Team!!!
