The 26th Annual Frontier Day Car Show was a success! Thanks to all the participants, spectators and volunteers who help make this car show special every year. The weather was a little worrisome this year, but it turned out to be a wonderful day. Our numbers were down a little, but we still had 106 awesome vehicles packed around the square. Again, thank you for all you do for our community. You helped raise over $1000 for Annie’s House of Hope.
I would like to thank all the volunteers that make this show possible. My wife, all four kids as well as their spouses make this show go off without a hitch…mostly.
Thanks to all our wonderful sponsors:
AAM came to me a couple years ago and asked what they could do to help. They have helped by donating the shirts and bringing a 5-6 cars every year. We could not do it without them.
O’Reilly Auto Parts and the local manager, Jeremy Johnson, has been a tremendous help over the years. Jeremy has donated door prizes from O’Reillys as well as making donations out of his own pocket. On top of all the donations, he has also shows up at daylight the morning of the show and helps in any way we need.
Union Bank has been a sponsor since the first show. I can always count on them to do anything I ask to help. They are truly an asset to our community.
Joe Schluterman, the owner of Paris Ford and now Paris Chevrolet has also been a sponsor from the beginning. I have walked into his office year after year and he has always been willing to help. On top of his sponsorship, he has also shared some very nice cars from his collection over the years.
Rainbow Stone Company has also been a sponsor for years. They have supported the show financially as well as helping with anything else we need.
Ray Kiefer Auto has helped in many ways over the years. Ray’s been very generous with his financial contributions, but just as importantly, he volunteers to be the Master Of Ceremonies (when his drag racing doesn’t get in the way). Ray can talk about old cars with the best of them. Especially if a Mopar is the topic.
I feel very blessed to have been able to be associated with this car show for 26 years. I have met some great people and formed some special friendships over the years due to this show. Stay tuned for what we have planned for 2027. It will be bigger and better than ever. Mark your calendar for Saturday, October 2nd, 2027. See you then!
