There’s no better way to kick off your summer on the Upper Peninsula than a trail run along the river 💚 💚🏃🏽♀️
Two Hearted Trail Race returns June 20th in Paradise, Michigan, set in the remote and rugged northeastern Upper Peninsula along the iconic Two Hearted River that inspired Ernest Hemingway.
The 50K and Marathon showcase one of the most remarkable stretches of Lake Superior shoreline, with runners traveling along high bluffs and winding through quiet shoreline forests before heading inland past Culhane Lake and the Little Two Hearted River. With a course that’s roughly 80% singletrack, it delivers a true backcountry trail experience.
The Half Marathon offers its own challenge, taking runners through old growth white pine forest and along the scenic ridge above Clark Lake.
All distances finish at the stunning Upper Tahquamenon Falls, the second highest waterfall east of the Mississippi, with Camp 33 Brew Pub just steps from the finish line to celebrate your day. 🍻
