Hello Papillion!
I wanted to take a moment to personally reach out to all of you because this is a bittersweet post for me to write.
It has been such an incredible year owning The Fireside Banquet Room, and I am so thankful for every single one of you who trusted me with your weddings, birthdays, showers, retirement parties, celebrations, and special moments. Getting to meet so many wonderful people in the Papillion & Omaha community has truly been one of the best parts of this journey.
With that being said, I have made the very difficult decision to sell The Fireside Banquet Room, effective October 1st.
This was NOT an easy decision. In fact, it was one I really didn't want to have to make. I absolutely love my job, I love Fireside, and I love being a part of this amazing Papillion community. But sometimes life puts you in a position where you have to take a step back and look at what you and your family needs most.
Chris and I are expecting Baby Girl #2 in less than a month, our family is young, and right now, they need me. Trying to be a full-time mom while my spouse is working a new demanding work schedule AND owning a business would stretch me far too thin which is not fair to them and of course- YOU! All of you deserve a venue host that can give you 110% of their effort for your special event and right now I am unable to give that. As hard as this decision has been, I know it is the right one for me and my family at this point in our lives. I truly hope you all understand.
With that being said- I would like to introduce you to the new owner of The Fireside Banquet Room, Claire from CJ's Event Planning & Services. I have known Claire for several years, she has tons of experience with weddings, parties, and event planning, and I know she will take great care of you and continue to make Fireside a special place for our community.
FOR THOSE OF YOU WHO ARE CURRENTLY BOOKED AND THIS IS THE FIRST TIME YOU'RE HEARING THIS-DO NOT PANIC!
If you already have an event booked with Fireside, you are still booked! You should have received an email 2 days ago from me (please check your spam too!) with all the information you need.
Thank you, from the bottom of my heart, for trusting me and Fireside with some of the biggest and most special moments in your lives. Getting to be a small part of those memories has meant more to me than you probably realize.
Although I won't be the one behind the scenes at Fireside anymore, I truly hope our paths continue to cross. Papillion continues to be such a special place for our family, and I hope to see many of you around town in the years to come.
Thank you for an amazing year, for supporting my small woman-veteran owned business, and for welcoming this Florida gal into this community with open arms :)
