Last Fall a character who called himself The Desert Doctor, known to bikers all over the world from Escalante UT. passed away from injuries suffered in a motorcycle accident. We recently found his wrecked bike in an impound lot here in Panguitch and was able to purchase it. The Old Skool Rally group is doing a complete restoration of the Dr's, bike as a memorial to a great man who put hundreds of tires on people's bikes in the middle of nowhere. Our goal is to have it finished in time to unveil it at this years Old Skool Rally. The life story behind the Dr. is incredible, it begins in Chicago and travels all the way to Escalante UT. We look forward to this project and honoring him for being the man he was.
