Headlining this year's Palouse Music Festival 🥳

Tone Sober is a hard-hitting rock band from Colfax, Washington. Melding riff-heavy guitars, creative lyrics, and, aggressive rock-style harmony vocals, make them stand out in the Modern Rock world. Their high-energy live performances combined with their catchy (and sometimes a little heavy) tunes, will ensure that everyone is head-banging and dancing right along with them. Get ready to rock!

Bring a blanket and/or some chairs, a cooler with water and some snacks. No alcohol and no glass. Vendors will have burgers, brats, house made chips, chilled smoked salmon plates, and other snacks and sides. Great day!

Palouse Music Festival Saturday!
Taking the stage at 2:45 🎻 FLOATING CROWBAR

In 2010, multi instrumentalists Don Thomsen and James Hunter joined forces with guitarist Rick Rubin and fiddler Morgan Andersen in the configuration known as Floating Crowbar.

They're developing a reputation as the best traditional Irish band in the area. Playing pipes, flute, whistle, banjo and mandolin, as well as fiddle and guitar, Floating Crowbar creates a high energy mix of Irish instrumental music and songs drawn from traditional and contemporary sources.

Coming from a wide variety of backgrounds and musical interests, they bring together their common passion for Irish music, good humor, mutual respect and friendship into a show that will be enjoyed by any Celtic music fan. They now have five studio recordings and have just released a retrospective collection on vinyl, Old Favourites.

Our park was made for this music!

Taking the stage at 1:30 ❤️

The Chelseas are a local, all-female acoustic folk band just singin' for the love of it. Their music truly fosters community, bringing folks together with their energy, passion, and sweet harmonies.

They cover the likes of Sierra Ferrell, First Aid Kit, Gillian Welch, I'm With Her, Xavier Rudd, and The Corrs among others. Going on 6 years together playing on the Palouse, The Chelseas are: Chelsea Feeney on guitar and vocals, Chelsey Lewallen on piano and vocals, Corrie Befort on bass and vocals, and Maggie Keefe on violin and mandolin. And, at the festival, the group will be joined by a very special guest, Peruvian cajon player, Cesar Palomino.

Smith&Reilly takes the stage at 12:15 this Saturday

Mike Reilly and Paul Smith first started playing on the Palouse together in the early '90s, with Mike singing and playing his wide-ranging repertoire of great songwriters, and Paul as the (super talented) sideman on fiddle, banjo, and mandolin.

You can expect some rich renditions of songs by the likes of Bob Dylan, John Hiatt, Richard Thompson, and John Prine, along with some surprises and new favorites. Smith&Reilly is a world class local treasure.

DO NOT MISS!

Vendor Spotlight! Dot's Dangles has been a long-time PMF vendor and we're glad she's back!!

Dor makes Braided Jewelry using ancient Japanese techniques called Kumihimo. Kumihimo means “gathering threads” and was originally used to tie samurai warriors' armor together.

She says that many people from many countries have been bitten by the Kumihimo bug. She has made necklaces using up to 24 cords and as few as 8. She uses materials like h**p, yarn, crochet, embroidery thread, ribbon, Chinese knotting cord, etc.

She says that designing takes the most time, but once she gets to making the cords, it is very relaxing. She also makes wrap bracelets that are not Kumihimo; they are leather with either ceramic beads or semi-precious gemstones. We are so excited to see her!!
