Zydeco Nation,

We at The Zydeco Historical & Preservation are very sorry and extremely saddened to learn of the passing of Father A.J. McKnight, your pastor, mentor to many, and true friend of the poor and African American community.

In this time of painful sorrow and grief we should remember that "ALL SOLDIERS MUST GO HOME," and Father A.J. McKnight was a true soldier.
As you know, Father A.J. McKnight was a soldier for economic and social justice.
