Desert Classic DanceSport Championships

Desert Classic DanceSport Championships July 8-12, 2026 - Join us in Palm Desert Paradise! 🌴 The Suvorovs acquired the competition in 2005 and expanded the number of events.

The Desert Classic DanceSport Championships was founded in 1999 as the Desert Classic DanceSport Festival--a one-day event. In 2009, the competition was granted "Championship" status by the National Dance Council of America (NDCA)

The Desert Classic offers over $90,000 in prize money--one of the largest prize purses in the country including a Professional Prize purse of $27,250, Pro/Am Scholarships & Prizes of $31,600 and a Top Teacher purse of $20,100.
