On the way home, just north of Scottsburg, there was an incident on the interstate. Mitch had to sacrifice the axle on my trailer to prevent wrecking my truck, my camper, and his Jeep. Thankfully, everyone is safe—nobody was hurt—and we can fix the trailer. We're currently waiting for my daughter and son-in-law to come rescue us. We'll transfer the contents of the trailer onto the one they're bringing and return to fix this one tomorrow.

It has been brought to my attention that there was a typographical error in the rules for the Sergeant Alvin C York memorial shoot. Rule #5 should read as follows.

5) Competitors may NOT handle other's equipment without permission from the owner.

Additionally, I have had a couple of questions and comments about some things seen in a video that was recently released.

This video involved laying items under your mat to make a rear rest for your rifle. This is not acceptable at the Sergeant Alvin C York memorial shoot the mat must lay flat on the ground. Also, I received a text message about the probability of using shooting gloves. This is not in the spirit of the shoot and will not be allowed.

We have attempted over the years to keep the rules to a minimum. However, it has become necessary to amend the rules once again. Therefore, the rules will be amended to reflect the items mentioned above.
