Jessie Lee Walsh (of Circle W) and Jenny Oz LeRoy (of Oz Farm and Tavern on The Green, Maxwell’s Plum) have come together to bring a magical experience to The Catskills. An inspired collaboration rooted in music, food, hospitality, and local history, together they will reawaken the spirit of the Hudson Valley at The Griffin House Tavern, Events Space and Lodge.
A boutique Lodge nestled deep in the Heart of the Catskill Mountains, The Griffin House presents a unique blend of rustic charm & laid-back luxury in a century-old brick tavern with guest-rooms at the gateway to the enchanting and iconic Kaaterskill Clove. Nestled in the heart of Palenville New York, a vibrant historic hamlet where Thomas Cole and his 19th century Hudson River School of landscape painters gathered to capture it’s breathtaking waterfalls and Catskill Mountain views.
The Tavern and Event space features a billiards and fireside lounge, along with outdoor dining and bar with stunning mountain and waterfall views. Serene lawns and fire pit lounges with Adirondack chairs allow guests to unwind and take in the surroundings.
A family friendly picnic table area and beautifully designed stage- suited for any great musical performers makes The Griffin House an ideal setting for gatherings of every style and occasion.
