This Thanksgiving hits differently.
After years of dust, deadlines, and daydreams, we finally get to take a breath and look around — not just at what we’ve built, but at who helped build it.
We’re thankful for Niki Stuber at Independence Bank, who believed in our vision long before the walls were painted or the lights were hung. Without her, none of this would exist.
For Trey Griffin & Robert Randall at Griffin Plumbing & Construction, who have carried this project on their shoulders with patience, precision, and humor when we needed it most.
And for Jeremy Darnell, whose craftsmanship and care have become part of the story this building will tell for generations.
These are just a few of the many hands that have shaped The Dim Light — each one leaving something behind that can’t be measured in blueprints or budgets.
We’re also deeply thankful for Paducah Main Street — a city that believes in small business, in history, in people who take old buildings and dare to make them shine again.
If downtown Paducah weren’t such a special place, there’d be no reason for anyone to stay here — and there’d be no Dim Light.
So this Thanksgiving, we’re giving thanks for the people who believed in the impossible, the city that made it possible, and the community that keeps showing up.
Happy Thanksgiving, Paducah. You’re the reason the light’s still glowing.🕯
