She’s home! She’s really home!
The Silver Bullet has arrived!
Let me tell you how good God is...we’ve been praying for this vehicle since we first realized our Si was going to use a wheelchair indefinitely. That was probably 5-6 years ago.
We researched accessible vans and quickly realized that we wouldn’t be getting one without divine intervention (and the help of LOTS of people.)
It’s honestly embarrassing to need help sometimes. I mean, don’t we want everyone to think that we “have what it takes” and that we are independent?
God used the need of this van to teach us that it’s okay to not have enough, not be enough, and just to need other people’s help in general.
This van was the culmination of so many people’s prayer, time, talents, and gifts. Our family paid ZERO dollars for it. ZERO.
Not only did we pay nothing, but God, being so generous, gave us every👏🏻little👏🏻detail👏🏻 we dreamed of! 👈🏻Sorry grammer folks for the run on sentence. I’m too excited!
We had no idea when we went to get it, that it would have all the little perks we only dreamed of!
No carpet in the loading zone ✔️
Big side windows that roll down ✔️
Built in sun shade✔️
These may seem like little things, but to us it means that God gave us His very best.
We can’t THANK YOU guys enough for the role you played in bringing this dream to life for our family. We’ve already taken Silas out and he feels like a million bucks riding in it. I wish you could see his smile when he’s sitting inside.
When the van pulled into the driveway, he immediately started pointing up and telling God thank you. He then proceeded to tell his nurse and I to also tell God thank you.🤣 It was a beautiful moment. 💚💚💚💚
