Thank you to everyone who came out to support our farmers market debut this weekend at the Tioga County Fair. We had 5 wonderful vendors join us, and the response from the community was incredible.

We are already growing, with even more vendors signed up to join the lineup moving forward.

Please note that the farmers market will not be set up this coming Saturday. However, we will be back in full action on Saturday, June 20th.

Thank you again for making our opening weekend a success, and we look forward to seeing you on the 20th.

The arts and crafts competition classes, categories and rules for the 2026 Tioga County Fair have been released! We can not wait to see what you are working on! You can register your project(s) on Sunday, August 9th when you drop them off at the fair grounds!

🌽 New Farmers Market at the Tioga County Fairgrounds!

The Tioga County Agricultural Society is launching a brand‑new Farmers Market at the Tioga County Fairgrounds — and we’re looking for vendors for our very first season.

🗓 Begins June 6
🕘 Saturdays • 9 AM–1 PM
📍 Tioga County Fairgrounds, Owego, NY
🌦 Rain or shine — indoor spaces available during bad weather
💰 Vendor spaces are FREE for this first year

Whether you want to set up once or join us all summer, it’s completely up to you. Farmers, gardeners, bakers, crafters, makers, and small businesses — we’d love to have you.

If you grow it, bake it, make it, or create it, this is your place to shine.

The NY State Junior Dairy Leader applications are now OPEN 🐄✨

If you know a youth who is interested in dairy, exploring careers in the dairy industry, or building personal and professional skills, this is an incredible opportunity. The program is open to students entering 11th or 12th grade this fall (ages 16–18) and is a selective, yearlong experience—welcoming its 28th class this year!

Mark Your Calendars! August 11 is the first day of the Tioga County Fair in Owego. It is Ag and Family DAY!

Admission on August 11 is FREE. Parking is FREE.
What to expect:
Parade at 10 am
Farmers Market All Day
Touch-a-truck Noon to 3 pm
Open Dairy Show at 3pm
Bob White performs with a special Willie Nelson Tribute at his finale 3pm
Square Dancing 6:00 -8:00....plus a few more surprises!
