One of the biggest celebrations in Minnesota. The Fair is a self supporting non profit organization. Well over 200 volunteers help produce the event. Please note that this page has been created to keep families informed on upcoming events at the Steele County Free Fair. The weather was overall great minus some wind on Saturday. We have things to tweak and improve on for next year, but we are grateful for everyone who came out and competed!

As Spring into Summer has come to a close, we want to extend a sincere THANK YOU to everyone who made this weekend possible.

Thank you to our attendees, volunteers, sponsors, grounds crew, vendors, competitors, entertainers, and community partners for helping create an incredible event supporting the fair and United Way of Steele County. Your support, enthusiasm, and hard work made this celebration a success.

From Scott, Zach, the entire Steele County Free Fair team and the United Way of Steele County, thank you for helping us spring into summer in such a memorable way. We can't wait to do it again next year!

-Live Music from Cori Kennedy, Mason Dixon Line and more
-12 food stands and 2 carnival rides
-Steele Saloon and Tin Roof tavern serving beer and mixed drinks
-BBQ competition Saturday
-Tom Thumb Donuts 5K Sat 8am
-The Rustic Mamas’ Market junk in the trunk sat 9am
