We’re proud to share that Brett C. Mitchell, CVE, General Manager of the Overland Park Convention Center, has been appointed to the 2026 Board of Directors of .

OPCC has been actively involved with ESCA for more than a decade, and Brett previously served as Co-Chair of the Venue Council (2020–2022) and was named ESCA Volunteer of the Year (2021). We’re honored to see his leadership continue at the board level.

Founded in 1970, ESCA serves as the unified voice for service contractors and partners in the exhibition, meeting, and event industries—advancing the industry through education, collaboration, and best practices.

The Overland Park Convention Center is proud to kick off our annual Toys for Tots Drive, supporting more than 48,000 Kansas City children in need this holiday season.

We’re once again partnering with our incredible friends at Marine Toys for Tots Foundation to bring joy to local families.
