Halloweenapalooza Annual Halloween inspired event in Ottumwa, IA

Currently, in its 13th year, Halloweenapalooza has become known for providing entertainment through its annual film festival which has received international recognition, costume contest, vendors, and more. Not only are out of towners enthusiastically boosting the local economy, but locals are able to spotlight their talents, arts, and business by becoming a vendor at Halloweenapalooza. With having horror film celebrities at Halloweenapalooza as well as our live music in the evening, we are thoroughly encouraged by the yearly growth of this event and hope to exceed our previous success.

🧟‍♂️ Come for the scares… stay because the food smells way too good to leave. 🍔🍿🍸

Bridge View Center just sent over the Halloweenapalooza weekend menu, and they absolutely understood the assignment. From Blackened Buffalo Bat Wings and Depths of Hell Nachos to Monster Muenster Bacon Cheeseburgers, Freddy’s Fingers, Wicked Web Brownies and plenty more, there’s something for every hungry survivor.

And for the 21+ crowd, they’ve also cooked up a couple killer mixed drinks: Blackberry Martini and Caramel Apple Martini for $9 each. 🍹

So come hungry this weekend. You’re going to need the fuel to survive the zombie infestation. 🧟‍♀️🧠

Huge thanks to Bridge View Center for putting together such a fun menu for Halloweenapalooza 2026!

🌽 NEW EVENT JUST ADDED! 🌽

Friday night at Halloweenapalooza 2026 is getting a little cornier… and a whole lot nastier.

Join us at 9:00 PM in the Zombie Lounge for a special screening of CILLER CORN, an Iowa-made grindhouse slasher from Heretic Pictures! Shot entirely on farm properties in Iowa County, the film follows a young man whose plans to leave the family farm take a horrifying turn when something poisoning the land begins changing him into something inhuman.

Ciller Corn is the feature directorial debut of Iowa filmmaker Lars Jean Easy and was created on a shoestring budget by a group of young, first-time filmmakers.
