Starting tomorrow (3/24/26) the Legacy Square greenspace will be roped off for approximately 3-4 weeks to start the reseeding process. We appreciate your help in staying off the grass during this time.

Welcome Moonrise Bike Ride Riders! If you are parking a car for the night in Ottawa the green areas are the approved parking. Please don’t park the Legacy Square Lot (red). Legacy Square is reserved for event checkin and the Hall of Fame Ceremony from 2-3:00 pm. Also, please consider sticking around for the Hall of Fame ceremoney. We’ll have a group start after the ceremony at 3:00 pm.

The revitalization project from Onward Ottawa envisioned a downtown revitalization located at the crossroads of the Prairie Spirit Trail and the Flint Hills Trail. The vision of the foundation was to develop a place for community members to gather. We are grateful to all who had put in the time and effort to making Legacy Square what it is today!
