We can’t wait to see you 5 MONTHS from today at Oktoberfest Ottawa!

You’re going to love our band, The Klaberheads! 💛 A little history: in the early 60’s Franz Klaber was stationed in Germany and playing trombone in the Army band. While there, he met John, Paul, George and Ringo, yes 🎤 THE BEATLES 🎤!

Franz was obsessed with European folk music, especially polka, he mentored the band and would rework Beatles songs into accordion dance tunes during late-night studio sessions. He became their 5th player of sorts and convinced them to write polka’s like “The Beatles Polka: Ob La Di”.

The Klaber family carries such deep music history and talent, we are so excited to introduce them to you LIVE at Oktoberfest SEPT. 19 at Rex Pavilion in Ottawa. 💛🍻🎵

BIG NEWS! We are thrilled to announce The Klaberheads as the 2026 Oktoberfest band!!

Based near Cincinnati, this fourth-generation family band has been bringing the fun since 1930, performing at Oktoberfests in Ohio and nationwide including recent events in Tennessee, Florida, Arizona and Texas. The Klaberheads lead a high-energy show, interacting with the crowd while playing a mix of German-American songs and popular tunes from over the decades. Get ready to prost SEPTEMBER 19 in Downtown Ottawa! 💛 Full schedule out soon, mark those calendars!

The Oktoberfest Ottawa committee presented a donation to the Ottawa Fire Department - Ohio last night in appreciation of its support of
Oktoberfest 2025. A number of firefighters and their spouses volunteered throughout the day to help ensure a successful event. Thank you OVFD! 👨🏻‍🚒

You did it! 🎊 Our sincere thanks to each and every person who celebrated Oktoberfest! Ottawa with us in September! Whether you attended, sponsored or volunteered for the festival, we’re grateful. ☺️Attendance increased by 47% over last year which made it possible for the Oktoberfest committee to give a $3,000 donation to Ottawa Parks last night. 👏🏼🛝 See you in 2026 – always the 3rd Saturday of September!
