The LaSalle County Junior Fair youth, parents and volunteers are GREAT! Thank you to all of the families that came out to participate in the rabbit workshop on Sunday. Meeting and learning about your Junior Fair animals is so much fun. Thank you, Larry and Jane, for putting the workshop on. Good luck to the people who purchased raffle tickets. Listening to how your kids plan on using the golf cart around the farm if they win tells us that you have hard workers. A BIG thank you to Liz for fixing the water problem on the grounds. If you were unable to stop out to the fairgrounds yesterday, the next time the fair office will be open is Tuesday, June 2nd from 3 pm to 5 pm..

2026 Admission prices for the fair.

Season Passes - $25.00

Single admission - for anyone over 10 years of age - $15.00 - this covers entrance to the grounds/night time entertainment, and parking.
Single admission - Children 5 - 9 years of age - $5.00
Single admission - Children under 4 years of age - free

July 9th, the start of the 2026 LaSalle County 4-H Show and Junior Fair is getting closer. We look forward to seeing everyone at this year's fair.

The LaSalle County Junior Fair Board and LaSalle County Extension with input from the livestock superintendents have changed the rule about the time all livestock is required to be on the fairgrounds for the 2026 fair. All livestock needs to be on the grounds by 1 pm on Thursday, July 9th. All livestock trailers need to be off the grounds by 3 pm on Thursday. Check the fair book as to when your animals need to be checked in with the superintendents.

The State of Illinois-Department of Ag-Bureau of County Fairs sets the ages for exhibitors in the junior fairs around the State. It states that the exhibitor needs to have been 8 years old by the previous September 1 and cannot have passed their 21st birthday.
