2020 Plans Include Virus Safety

The Battle of the Bridges Race Committee is closely monitoring the continuing developments regarding the novel coronavirus (COVID-19).

We are working on the event and plan to hold it on its original date of September 26, 2020. All registration opening dates and deadlines will remain unless otherwise posted on this website.

Our top priority is to create an event that is safe for competitors, volunteers, and spectators. We are working closely will all of the appropriate state and local officials as well as USRowing in developing our plans and providing guidance on final decisions.

We remain committed to putting on a safe regatta in all ways and will follow all federal, state, and local governing body guidelines pertaining to the COVID-19 situation. We hope the threat of this virus will have passed by the fall.
