King of Clay Pro Tennis Classic King of Clay is an annual Pro-Am tennis event hosted in Orwigsburg, PA. Come join us for some great tennis and a family friendly atmosphere.

KING OF CLAY! Since retiring as Head Coach for Blue Mountain Tennis, I felt a desire to stay involved in the program. It has always been important to me to keep the sport of tennis growing in Schuylkill Co

unty. I realized that many of my students had never seen a live professional match and I wanted to give them that opportunity. That is when we launched our inaugural KING OF CLAY event in August of 2023
With the help of Ryan Knarr, USTA official and coach at Conrad Weiser, we were able to have professional player, KP PANNU, from New Zealand & HOLDEN KOONS, Intercollegiate Tennis Association All American and Semifinalist in the National Championship play an exhibition singles match. We also had a Junior exhibition doubles match which featured 3 former state doubles champions and the #2 ranked 12 and under player in the country. In addition, two local tennis players had the privilege of playing a doubles exhibition match with the professionals. It was a full day of tennis, providing the fans with an amazing experience. The 2nd Annual Event will be held on August 18, 2024. We are grateful to have sponsors for this event, allowing us to provide free admission to all junior tennis players under the age of 18. Our King of Clay Pro Tennis Classic 2025 event was a huge success!!! Everyone enjoyed the live tennis action under beautiful summer skies! We know we could not have done it alone.
