We would like to give a special thanks to all of Oroville Rock Reggae Jamfest supporters that believe in us and know we have been part of the Rastafari Movement since birth and are committed to carrying on the work for the younger generation.
On Sunday, we had technical difficulties due to sabotage. We had problems with our sound system, which our artists knew about, and everyone knew we were working through our difficulty to make the show happen.
We would like to give a special THANKS to all the people that stuck around on Sunday and supported us while we tried our best to fix the problem. THANK YOU for having Faith in us knowing that one day we will get the festival to work the way we want it to.
Thanks to all the vendors who helped us organize and fix the difficulty that we faced on Sunday.
Thanks to all the artists who came and performed and celebrated His Majesty’s Earthstrong: Anthony B, Junior Reid and the One Blood Family, JuJu Blood and Yung Jr. and Ras Shiloh, The Guidance band, Kulcha Knox, Empress Akua, The Artist M, Blaze1, Mega Banton, Mobay Prodigal, Dignitary Stylish, Geronimo Wild Apache, Rockerz Dancers, Selecta Staqweed, Zion Roots Sound, Jah Mikey One Sound, Small Axe Sound, and DJ PhG.
Many thanks to the people who came out and gave a hand this year… it was well appreciated! Gwen, Liebchen, Aja, Lawrence, Steven to name a few. Special thanks to Mama Terry for keeping the Artist and volunteers belly full.
We are so sorry for the fan’s disappointment over the artists that came and did not leave their hotel room. They had received their deposits, airline tickets, hotel rooms and per diems per their contracts, but requested additional demands that we could not meet.
With the exception of Barrington Levy (who was a no-show due to tour schedule conflict and did not let us know), all the artists were in Oroville but still did not see fit to come and say Hello or perform for their fans.
We are focusing on the Artists that did perform a - A big Thank You for bringing Jah music to Oroville!
It is all about Happiness and Love and we always do our best to make it Irie.
One Love to all the people who stayed on Sunday to Celebrate his Majesty’s Earthstrong with us we hope to see all of you again in the future!
If we keep on working together we will see a better tomorrow.
Respectfully
Ifa and Sharon
