🚀🎻 **Summer StringFest Academy 2026: Volunteer & Guest Artist Interest Form Now Open!** 🎻🚀

Cypress Creek High School Orchestra is preparing for our **2026 Summer StringFest Academy: Mission Orchestra — Launching Into Sound**, and we are looking for volunteers, guest artists, and music mentors who would like to support our students this summer!

📍 **Location:** Cypress Creek High School
🎶 **Theme:** Mission Orchestra — Launching Into Sound

Summer StringFest Academy is a **free summer orchestra string camp** for new and returning Cypress Creek Orchestra students. Campers will spend the week reinforcing fundamentals, building ensemble skills, learning exciting music, making new friends, and preparing for a final performance showcase.

We welcome interest from:

🎻 Cypress Creek Orchestra alumni and former students
🎻 Music educators
🎻 Private lesson instructors
🎻 Local musicians and community ensemble players
🎻 College music majors and advanced music students
🎻 Supportive volunteers interested in helping with camp logistics

Volunteers and guest artists may assist with tuning, sectionals, small-group coaching, ensemble rehearsals, music reading support, camp activities, setup/cleanup, showcase support, or music pathway conversations with students.

Whether you can help for one morning, one afternoon, a full day, or multiple days, we would love to hear from you!

Summer StringFest Academy Camp returns July 13–17 at Cypress Creek High School!

Join us for a FREE week of music-making, fundamentals, ensemble training, and performance as we prepare for launch into a new school year. Open to all new and returning orchestra students.

🎼 Pre-register by July 6 to receive your music early and begin mission prep before camp begins!

The week concludes with a final Concert Showcase for family and friends on Friday afternoon!

🎻🔥 **Cypress Creek Orchestra End-of-Year Barbecue!** 🔥🎻

Let’s celebrate an amazing orchestra season together!

Current students, alumni, parents, families, middle school directors, incoming freshmen, and our extended orchestra community are invited to join us for an afternoon of food, fun, games, fellowship, and celebration.

📅 **Sunday, June 7**
⏰ **1:00 PM – 6:30 PM**
📍 **Bear Creek Recreation Complex**

**Pavilion Area**

This will be a **potluck-style gathering**. Hot dogs and hamburgers will be provided, and families are encouraged to bring a dish, drinks, supplies, games, or additional grill items to share.

Because our pavilion area has a capacity limit of approximately **50 people at a time**, please complete the RSVP/Potluck Sign-Up Form and select your estimated arrival window so we can plan food, supplies, and space comfortably throughout the afternoon.

Suggested items to bring include sides, desserts, drinks, water, ice, plates, napkins, utensils, condiments, lawn games, folding chairs, picnic blankets, sunscreen, and bug spray.
