Terry McGovern is a legendary actor, voice artist, and performer known for his work across film, television, animation, video games, radio, and theater. He is best known as the voice of Launchpad McQuack in Disney’s "DuckTales" and "Darkwing Duck," as well as his iconic voice work in "Star Wars," including delivering the unforgettable line, “These are not the droids we’re looking for.”
McGovern began his film career working with George Lucas, providing voices for "THX 1138" and later appearing as Mr. Wolfe in the classic film "American Graffiti." His additional film credits include "Mrs. Doubtfire" and "Nine Months."
On television, McGovern has appeared in fan-favorite series including "Happy Days," "The Jeffersons," "Newhart," "Cagney & Lacey," "St. Elsewhere," "My Sister Sam," and "Fernwood 2 Night." He was also a series regular on the CBS sitcom "Charlie & Company."
Beyond film and television, McGovern has voiced hundreds of commercials and characters for animation and video games, working with Disney, LucasArts, Sega, Xbox, and more!
