We are heartbroken to say goodbye to our friend Mike McFarland.
Mike was a gifted actor and director who gave his voice to Master Roshi in "Dragon Ball," Buggy in "One Piece," Jean Kirstein in "Attack on Titan," and so many other beloved characters.
For so many of us, his voice was part of growing up and discovering the stories we still love today.
Mike was one of our first guests from our days as Supercon, and we were honored to welcome him to our events and virtual events for the past 20 years and give fans the opportunity to meet the man behind so many meaningful moments.
We are grateful he was part of our GalaxyCon (and Supercon) family, and we will treasure the time we had with him.
Our hearts are with Mike’s family, friends, colleagues, and everyone mourning his loss.
Behind every beloved character is a person who gives a piece of themselves to the story. Mike gave us so much, and his work will continue to touch the hearts of generations of fans. He will be deeply missed.
