With that description many of us were hooked, not only were we promised to see the stars and ride the movies we could also witness the boys in gray slug it out with some pesky poltergeists right in front of us. The Ghostbusters Spooktacular, based off the hit Columbia film, entertained park goers in the New York street area from 1990 to 1996, when it was replaced by Twister: Ride it out. With its closing all we have left are our memories of two amazing stage shows, several entertaining street shows, and hundreds of Ecto-1 photo ops. This tribute page was created as a gathering place for fans to share stories, photos, and home videos of one of the original and greatest Universal attractions ever created. So head back into the firehouse, try to keep the slime from touching the ground, and remember a simpler time when YOU COULD BE A GHOSTBUSTER!
