Why is training so important?

Yesterday I had a class of new gun owners. The group had never had formal training. One had a Shadow Sytems pistol and another had a FN subcompact gun. Both guns failed to run properly yet they were being concealed carry. The Shadow pistol failed to load one in the chamber with Pmag magazine and g***k magazines. The FN kept jamming. If they didn’t attend a class they would had never know their fi****ms were not working properly. In a moment where seconds count those guns would had failed probably costing them their lives.

WHY INVEST IN FI****MS TRAINING?You just purchase a fi****ms during this uncertain times. Now what? A firearm is a tool and nothing more. Like any tool you must become proficient with it in order for such tool to be effective. Once you commit to the responsibility of carrying a firearm, any situation you are involved in from that moment forward there is a firearm involved. Training is done in all professions and defending your life and the lives of those you love should be a priority. You are your first responder and when seconds matter the police unfortunately are minutes away. The benefits of proper training is to reduce liability, increase your knowledge, skills, and situational awareness. Training will prepare you to react and be confident on making good judgment calls. You, as a responsible armed citizen should invest in your firearm training. Put the liability on the bad guy before you spend more money on accessories and other guns. This is your life we are talking about. Train, learn a skill and have the ability to become proficient. In a gun fight you should be doing one of three things: shooting, moving and/or reloading. When was the last time you were able to train this at a indoor range stall?I have access to two outdoor training facilities in central Florida. One is located in Lake Wales and one in Lake Nona. Arrangements can be made to teach in your city or state.
