Unrelated to River Day but still interesting for residents of Orland and our County. The Hancock County Planning Commission has created a monthly community connection activity called "Hancock Talks". Join the discussion the first Friday of each month for topics relevant to municipalities and planning committees. Each "Hancock Talks" includes speakers from state agencies to describe their grant opportunities, HCPC staff to share their expertise and updates on legislative issues affecting municipalities, and local town representatives to share information on local projects/activities.
