With fires burning all around me, poor Oregon is having a tough time of it. My heart goes out to everyone effected by this horrific battle we are fighting.

So far I am safe but have packed bags just in case. So I will hunker in and take a few photos of these adorable little loves.
These little pups are 6 day old Welsh Terriers. (Not Rottweilers)

The year 2020 is going to be memorable in so many ways. Birthdays, Anniversaries, Weddings,Births, Graduations and more. Normal is what got us here, so finding a new normal is what it’s all about. With the class of 2020 graduating right around the corner and having Social Distancing in order, It’s still important to congratulate our seniors and make this as memorable as we can. You have worked very hard to get here! Not being able to share this moment with all the family and friends around you I feel it more now that this time in your life should be documented.

With having a long telephoto lens allows me to keep social distancing at 6ft. Photographing in front of the graduates school in their cap and gown, in a open space or in your front yard. I still can maintain social distancing.

This is my favorite graduate of 2020. This is Ella Moisant my niece. I couldn't be prouder of her. Ella is persistent and one of strongest young ladies I know. She has overcome some immense challenges these past 3-4 years and has come up swinging every time. Once again some important life events were "taken" away; No Prom, no farewell with her buds, no walking at graduation to receive a diploma that she worked so hard getting. I know she will be strong and she will have this story to tell years from now. But right here and now I want to celebrate her and her accomplishments! I am so proud of her and the grades she has kept up during some of the most difficult time most of us have never gone through. She has balanced school, sports, job, and relationships better then anyone I know.
Ella you are my champion! You deserve so much more then what you have been dealt. You will persevere and be just that much stronger because of it. I love you so much my buttons pop! Happy Graduation 2020

I went out to photograph loved ones durning this challenging time of our lives. All while practicing social distancing. Some of us are alone, while others may have families around them. I have heard so many touching and sad stories, this has effected everyone.

Well hello to you all I have not posted in a very very long time. I look back and even my hair is longer ;) . I have had to work many days in a row for over a year now and have not done as much photography as I had hoped for. Life has taken a turn so I am hoping for more photographing ahead.

I had a fun opportunity to photograph the lovely Karen doing Ballet that she has been doing for many many years. It truly is inspirational to see someone doing what they are so passionate about. Karen was fluid, precise and dedicated to her art form. Thank you Karen for allowing me to be a part of your passion and reminding me about how I love to capture someones love, passion and creativity in a split second.

I had the pleasure in photographing my Nephew Robert Shields and Michael Figueredo's wedding yesterday. These two have found each other over 7 years ago and have tied the knot. The day couldn't have been more beautiful in Oregon as the air cleared from smoke, cooled off from the heat. The wedding took place at the Tumwater Ballroom over looking the Oregon Falls. I'm truly excited for them both as they continue their lives together.

Instead of photographing the 🌙 I just enjoyed the friends around me. Families enjoying this amazing experience with their children.
