Lutcher Theater is closed today, Friday, June 19, 2026 in observance of Juneteenth. We will resume regular hours Monday, June 22.

June 19, 1865 - Juneteenth is the oldest nationally celebrated commemoration of the ending of slavery in the United States. The holiday was first celebrated in Texas, where on that date in 1865, in the aftermath of the Civil War, enslaved people were declared free under the terms of the 1862 Emancipation Proclamation. This is a day of recognition, restoration and celebration.

Some of the cast members of The Music Man have been exploring Orange, TX! 🍊

Elliott Andrews, who plays Harold Hill, visited 12 News to promote the show and Elizabeth D’Aiuto, who plays Marian Paroo, stopped by KFDM News and even tried a “Marian’s Reading Brew” from Lava Java! Some of the cast also visited The W.H. Stark House and the Stark Museum of Art and enjoyed dinner at Spanky’s!

Adam serves as our Box Office & House Manager, bringing exceptional customer service, attention to detail and a fun-loving spirit to everything he does. Adam works closely with our Service Guild, our Education Program, stars in an occasional social media video and makes sure our patrons are given the best Lutcher Experience possible. We are so proud to have him on our team!

⭐️ Favorite Broadway Show: "I saw the 1999 Broadway revival of Cabaret several times in New York City with several star performers and it completely changed the way I look at theater. The staging, blocking and overall presentation of the show was both artistic and inspiring."

⭐️ Favorite Program: "I love the Premiere Season Ticket Holder Program we offer here at the Lutcher. Getting to know each of our subscribers and personally helping place their seats so they can have the best possible Lutcher experience brings me so much pride."

⭐️ Most Anticipated Show of the 2026–2027 Season: "After seeing 'Shucked' on Broadway with our staff, I am a huge fan! I have never laughed so hard. I left the theater with the biggest smile on my face and I can't wait for our audiences to experience it too."
