Juneteenth marks the day when federal troops arrived in Galveston, Texas in 1865 to take control of the state and ensure that all enslaved people be freed. The troops’ arrival came a full two and a half years after the signing of the Emancipation Proclamation. Juneteenth honors the end to slavery in the United States and is considered the longest-running African American holiday. On June 17, 2021, it officially became a federal holiday.

FREE parking with a FREE shuttle is available at Moosehaven. The address is 1701 Park Avenue. Utilize the Park Ave. gate to enter the property. The shuttle will run continuously from 10am - 4:30pm. PLEASE DO NOT park in the Winn-Dixie/CVS lot.
Limited handicap parking is available at Town Hall located at 2042 Park Ave.

Good Morning Everyone! Today's the day! It's Kids Fest 2024! A few important reminders before you head this way...
📌 Event hours are 10am - 4pm today and tomorrow.
📌 Parking is FREE at Moosehaven and a free shuttle will take you to the festival. DO NOT PARK at Winn-Dixie.
📌 Wear sunscreen and stay hydrated!
📌 Some of our inflatables will have water. Be prepared if you plan to play on any of those.
📌 Most vendors accept cards but not all. We will have ATMs on-site for your convenience.
📌 Please leave your pets at home. Service animals are always welcome.
